Jeremiah Choy is a director, actor, writer and choreographer, but above all he considers himself an activist of the arts. He tells MARCUS WONG what freelancers would do well to note.
“Many people were shocked to find that they were spending $1800-2200 per month to keep up their lifestyle.” says Jeremiah. Many were living on their savings – a tricky situation at best as it means they are unable to put any money aside for emergencies. Thus Jeremiah suggests planning all your expenses – only splurge when you can afford it!
